Each illustration is inspired by vintage tool manuals, which showcase each object in thin line drawings with pointillism shading. These manuals were intended for beginners, much like Nailed It.

Nailed It uses a simple color scheme and bold copywriting to draw its audience in, while maintaining a lighthearted tone. By using the silhouettes of various tools, Nailed It reminds its members of just how many ways they can nail it.
